OK, so it’s local council elections; not a general election. But Mr. Blair can’t maintain his position much longer, surely? Ineptitude and arrogance are two qualities that we’ve come to expect of TB (and GWB but that’s another rant) so I guess Gordy will have to prise the leadership from his cold (well, clammy, at least) hands…
And of course, there’s the obligatory cabinet reshuffle. Clarke’s out. Prescott’s in but with no department (so what does he do, actually?). Reid’s moved sideways. What’s the point? No wonder that they’re accused of losing touch with reality - how can they keep track of which department they’re in this week?
