This morning, Holly (2) was flicking through one of my guitar mags…
Holly: “Holly looking at guitars for Daddy.”
Me: “Are you going to buy me a new guitar, then?”
Holly: “Yes.”
Jo: “I think Daddy’s got enough…”
Holly: “No, Mummy – more!”
I don’t think anything else needs to be said…

Matthew Ryan Edwards was born today (30 Sept 07) at 13:02 BST, weighing in at a not-insubstantial 8lbs 15oz.
Mum and baby are doing incredibly well and are coming home later this afternoon!

Two days late and counting…
I’ve got my mobile permanently attached to my person (on vibrate, of course – don’t want to disturb my meetings too much); waiting for the call from Jo to tell me that the baby’s coming.
Sure, it’ll be hard work, and I’ve no idea how number 1 will react to the news (she’s only 20 months old) but I can’t wait.
