Why is most modern music so crap?

Why do so many middle-class white boys profess to be 'boyz from da hood'?

Are they honestly trying to tell me that they like (c)rap music; that they really like to see their ears bleed from the amount of treble 'n' bass?

I'm sitting here with 'Popworld' on the TV & it's full of mindless, derivative pap.

Now they're at the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards... OK, most of today's music is derived from the black artists of yesteryear, but can you imagine the furore that a 'Music Of White Origin' ceremony would cause?

Yes, sad to say that inverse racism is alive and well in the music industry :-(

And don't even think about getting me started on the whole R'n'B/Swing terminology thing!

Grrr....
