So the BPI are complaining that they're losing money because of illegal file-sharing (link)...
I've just about had it with this argument - if the prices of CDs were reduced then surely more people would buy them!
Personally, the only tracks that I download (once in a blue moon) are either deleted from the catalogues, rare, unavailable or serve as a taster before I buy the album.
Sorry BPI - there's no way am I going to spunk 15 or 20 quid on a CD where I've only heard a track or two... I want value for money!
Besides... any organisation that continues to inflict the likes of Westlife on us deserves everything they get.
Which reminds me: one down, four to go...

and regarding CD prices, don't get me started. see recent rant on my blog about HMV.
