Reading the Metro this morning, I was astounded to see that “Britain tops Europe’s binge-drinking league”.
Apparently, we reckless Brits down an average of *2.2 pints* in each visit to the pub. Shock! Horror! Never again shall I venture to sink 3 pints in a sitting, lest I receive an on-the-spot ASBO.
Yeah, right…
