IE’s (lack of) PNG support

Grrr… Sometimes, I really hate Internet Explorer.

All I want to do is use a .png image as the background to a link, then change it on hover. I’ve searched high and low for a fix but nothing seems to cater for background images delivered by CSS.

I’ve been reduced to delivering GIFs to IE, which don’t look nearly as nice.

Any ideas?

No, it’s not some tacky “Pulp Fiction” rip-off, just an open-source Ph*t*sh*p close equivalent.

I’ve been toying with Flickr badges for a short while and was convinced I could make them look better…

Here’s my first attempt – what d’you think?

I’ve finally managed to get on Google‘s first page of results! Not only that, but I’m at number two in the list!!

I’d be even more impressed if I had something interesting to talk about :-)
